The small Audi SUV version, the Q3, will be available from January 2021 with a plug-in hybrid powertrain and a new cabin look. There’s not much that runs analogue in the Q3 anymore. A modern, digital cockpit dominates and is designed after Audi’s top-of-the-range models. Perfectly aligned with the driver, the on-board monitor and infotainment system are easy to operate, well-structured and minimalistic.
Smart assistance
For the combustion and e-engine to work efficiently together, the integrated efficiency assistant takes care of detailed planning processes. The system saves information such as driving style, navigation data and the traffic situation, which is monitored by car sensors, using it in powertrain management planning.
The driver decides only the hybrid mode. By selecting Auto, Hold or Charge, you can adjust the engine to the desired route and drive as economically as possible.

Full charge
Thanks to the 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 150 hp and the 85-kW electric engine the system output amounts to 245 hp. The electric powertrain alone manages a range of roughly 50 kilometres, allowing you to cruise the city almost emission-free.
Should you be in a hurry, the Q3 accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. Whenever the brakes are applied, the battery recovers energy. The battery can be fully charged in three hours and 45 minutes using a 400-V jack plug. The Audi app monitors the charging process and informs you once the Q3 is charged to the max.
