A successful crossover
After 1 comes 2
Slightly flatter and slightly lower. This could describe the new BMW X2 which qualifies as a SUV that has plenty to offer.
Compared to the X1, the roof is lowered by 7 cm, creating that special coupé look. From the front – owing to the perfectly staged BMW kidney grille in a chrome look and the triangle air inlets – the X2 appears wider and bigger than it actually is.
And yet, the trunk easily has space for up to 1355 litres.
Loaded, but not overly tall
Passengers can’t be all too long or tall because the 7 cm have an impact on the backseat height: You’ll have to duck your head, as the windows are narrow and so is the gap to the roof liner.
This, however, does no harm to the inner beauty. After all, you drive with your eyes, too.
Various lighting elements bring out the best of the interior and emphasise the premium workmanship.
On good terms with technology
Optionally operable via voice control, or else with a standard touch screen, the BMW X2 is equipped with a free-standing 8.8-inch screen in the centre console.
Fully connected with the BMW Connected Drive, you can now inform others about your location or arrival time.
Safe arrivals are aided by various assistance systems that range from a lane departure warning system to a traffic jam assist.
The driving mode switch enhances driving pleasure. With the three modes “Comfort”, “Eco” and “Sport” you’re ready for each and every road.
Well-stocked under the bonnet
The BMW X2 will be available in six versions: three diesel and three petrol-driven models, starting out with a 2.0-l petrol-driven version with 192 hp and two 2.0-l diesels with 190 and 213 hp, respectively.
A standard xDrive all-wheel drive and an eight-speed Steptronic transmission are included in the diesel models.
All of them are sprightly, accelerating from 0 to 100 in 7.7 seconds.
20 inches double-crossed
Confident, aggressive, sporty … This describes the future X2 driver while the AEZ Crest dark embodies these features, too. The polished outer edge not only separates the wheel from the rim visually, it also draws attention to the edgy double cross-spoke design.
The AEZ Crest dark 225/40 R20 is the perfect match for the BMW X2 M Sport. With the recessed pentagon in the rim’s centre area this pairing becomes the ultimate eyeturner.
Confident and extroverted – an impressive duo: the BMW X2 and the AEZ Crest dark.
