"Topless" with the new Range Rover Evoque convertible
Range Rover is taking a bold step with the first convertible in the compact premium SUV class. The drop-top comes in a young, sporty and dynamic look while staying true to the off-roader line. It’s a car made for pleasure seekers, because the Evoque not only promises the cabriolet feeling but also off-road fun.
This luxury SUV shares the lines and shape of the hardtop series, except for its roof, which is made of fabric. Courageous drivers have nothing to fear because the Evoque is equipped with the fully automated rollover protection system ROPS, which deploys automatically, securing the passenger area.
With just under two tonnes, the Evoque isn’t a lightweight, but with the AEZ Strike in 9x20’’ the SUV is fortunate to have an equally strong partner for support. The rim is a real eye-catcher, whether on the road or at a countryside picnic. It’s sporty, dynamic and powerful, providing the perfect look from top to bottom. The rim impresses with ten narrow spokes pairs that extend into the rim flange. The combination of black background paint and front polish enhances the looks of the angular spokes. Despite the big surface the rim gives a dynamic, lightweight impression – an absolute bull’s eye for the new Evoque cabriolet – strike!
